9 a.m.  Native, Hardwood Tree Giveaway, Arbor Booth Along Riverwalk

9 a.m.- 12 noon  Delmarva Pigeon Club Display including Fancy Breeds, Parlor Rollers, & Racing Homers, Bicentennial Park

9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Kids’ Korner Open.  Activities include Fire Truck Rides, Pony Rides, Spider Inflatable, Kiddie Train, Arts & Crafts and Game Area.

9 a.m.-4 p.m.  Milford Public Library Open.  Activities include Bug & Bud themed book sale, “Budding Readers” distribution of free books to young children, Children’s Artwork & Ladybug Public Art Project displays, Craft Activity, and Hot Dog Sales.

9 a.m.-4 p.m. Street Games in Bicentennial Park.  Activities include Boy Scout Venture Crews’ Nanticoke Indian and Archery displays, Chess Master Competition, and more!

10 a.m.  Costume walking parade to organize on Maple Avenue in the God’s Way to Recovery parking lot.  Walking parade will follow the Riverwalk to the library amphitheatre.

10 a.m.-2 p.m.  Youth Fishing Contest, 16 and under presented by Mispillion Bass Club

10 a.m.-2 p.m.  Kite Flying presented by Benjamin Franklin Plumbers, Bicentennial Park

10 a.m.-3 p.m.  “Abbott’s Animals” Hands-On Nature Show, along Riverwalk

10:30 a.m.  Welcoming Ceremony at library amphitheatre.  Ceremony features the posting of the flag by Boy Scout Troop 911 & Venture Crew 911, National Anthem sung by Alison Clendaniel, Arbor Day proclamation by Mayor Joseph “Ronnie” Rogers, and special award presentations by DMI president Mitch Crane and Parks & Recreation Director, Gary Emory.

11 a.m.-1 p.m. Eagle 97.7 live radio remote, North Walnut Street

11 a.m.-2 p.m. Chalk Art Contest with winner prizes from LadyBug Shop, Walnut Street Riverwalk Bridge

11:30 a.m.-12 Noon Tai Chi demonstration by Milford Senior Center, Bicentennial Park
