The SCORE Association, headquartered in Washington, D.C.., is a
nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneurial education and the
formation, growth and success of small businesses nationwide. SCORE's
10,500 retired and working volunteers provide free business counseling
and advice as a public service. SCORE offers free face-to-face business
counseling at its many chapters around the United States. (The closest
SCORE offices to Milford are in Wilmington and Salisbury.) SCORE also
has low-cost workshops at its offices and an online service "Ask SCORE"
that provides advice via email. SCORE is associated with the U.S. Small
Business Administration.
